What's it like in Rome? I've not been to Europe in ages but I always found the vintage and thrifting scene (in France, Netherlands and Germany especially) better than other places I've lived in!
I believe Rome is getting better, and in that respect it’s a good time for it as it’s still not very widespread. But there is nowhere local to me, for instance.
I just got back from my honeymoon in Japan where I fell prey to travel shopping FOMO. I bought two pieces that I don’t know that I’ll actually wear now that I’m back and regret not picking up two other items that I labored over while in a store. I like your method for shopping and hope to adopt it on my next trip. 💞
I completely endorse and resonate with being in a place where you've done so much prep work and thought so many potential purchases through that when you find them, it's a no brainer to buy them.
I love seeing all the things that caught your eye, Lin!💕 You made some great purchases. I always research vintage, thrift and consignment shops when I travel too. It’s so fun to see what you can find. Your Murano glass ring is wonderful.
Thank you! I used to travel excited to see all the brands I couldn't find back home, but seeking out secondhand has been very exciting and interesting.
I'm intrigued how many possibilities there were for shopping secondhand in Bologna, and your choices were all really special.

I should say that I found many pieces that I adore, with only two regrets. So many not bad 😂
I’m glad you found plenty you adored! Japan is a place I’ve always hoped to revisit and explore more of and maybe next year is the year!
I hope you get to go again! We loved the vintage shopping in the Shimo Kitazawa neighborhood of Tokyo, as well as the Chuo ward in Osaka.

And many of those exciting brands can be found secondhand too! Love it!💕
